Start with your professional license and your intended state of practice. Training is one part of preparation; scope, prescribing arrangements, clinical supervision, insurance, and an appropriate practice setting also need attention.
Look closely at the learning format. Ask how anatomy, patient assessment, consent, complications, and supervised practice are taught and assessed. Ask what happens if a learner needs more time to demonstrate a skill.
Finally, ask about the support after the workshop. A clear route to mentorship, case discussion, and escalation is more useful than a certificate with no continuing relationship.
